A Grateful Thank You

Dear Loved Ones,

I wanted to let you know that I am back in Indiana and wanted to send my love and thanks to everyone who had a part in my beloved's memorial. We as a family couldn't have asked for a more beautiful celebration of his life. Our family was so grateful as many shared of what God can accomplish through a life that is wholly and totally committed to Him. So many commented to me that this was one of the nicest memorials that they have ever seen and it ministered to them so much. Bruce, I am sure was humbled and loved it also...

Thank you to all who came and cried with us and loved on us. Thank you to all who have sent cards, texts, flowers and your love which is such an encouragement and blessing to us. Thank you most of all for your prayers which help us so much through this most difficult time.

I am grateful that Bruce helped prepare the future for me by moving us to Indiana, so that we could be close to our grandchildren.  They were a source of joy to us before his homegoing and continue to bring smiles to my face.

I am grateful for the comforting scriptures such as Psalm 34:' I sought the Lord and He answered me and delivered me from all my fears.  vs 8 Taste and see that the Lord is good...blessed is the one who takes refuge in Him. vs 15 The eyes of Lord are on righteous and His ears are attentive to their cry."  I know the Lord is bottling up all my tears...and someday will pour them out as a sweet sacrifice to Him for His faithfulness to me when I shed them.

Living my life without Bruce at my side will be very difficult, I know...I am leaning heavily on the Lord, who will uphold me and knows my future... Jeremiah 29:11.

Thank you again for all you all did to make the memorial so amazing and for loving on me and our family.

Love you all dearly...
