Charlie Hornick trusted Christ as his personal Savior at the age of nine in the basement of his home in West Virginia. At fourteen, he sensed a call to preach and began preaching the Gospel soon after. He received his Bachelor of Theology Degree from Piedmont Bible College in Winston-Salem, North Carolina and also attended Denver Baptist Theological Seminary. In 1976 he married his wife, Susan, and they have two children, an adopted son in the faith and three grandchildren. Charlie began his pastoral ministry as an Associate Pastor in 1974 in Greensboro, North Carolina, and since 1976 has been the Senior Pastor in four churches. Since 2003, he has been pastor of Grace Bible Church in Parachute, Colorado. He has also served on various Mission Boards committed to church planting. Presently, Charlie serves on the boards of Tentmakers Bible Mission, Rocky Mountain Bible Mission, Twin Peaks Bible Camp, and the Steering Committee of Grace Bible Church of Collbran, Colorado. He has ministered in Romania, Hungary, Russia, the Netherlands Antilles, Canada, and among various North American Indian tribes. Charlie has also spoken at several conferences on the family, Bible conferences, Bible Colleges, and has taught homiletics at Frontier School of the Bible in LaGrange, Wyoming. In 2001, Charlie was awarded Pastor of the Year by the Nebraska Family Council.
