Name: Bruce & Donna Miles
Board of Directors Having served in pastoral ministry for almost 30 years, I have come to believe that there is no purer form of missions activity than the planting of indigenous, independent, Bible-teaching churches, both here in the States and abroad.
Name: Charlie & Sue Hornick
Board of Directors Charlie Hornick trusted Christ as his personal Savior at the age of nine in the basement of his home in West Virginia. At fourteen, he sensed a call to preach and began preaching the Gospel soon after.
Name: Jeff & Nancy Anderson
Board of Directors Jeff Anderson has been the pastor of Grace Bible Church in Colorado Springs, CO since 1997. He is a native of southern Colorado and counts it a privilege to minister “back at home” after graduating from Bob Jones University in Greenville, SC (BA in pastoral studies, 1991, and MA in Bible, 1995).
Name: Mike & Lois Huseby
Board of Directors Mike joined the Tentmakers Board in 2006 with the desire to be more involved in missions.
Name: Ron & Wanda Thompson
Board of Directors Ron loves to be active in the Lord's work. He is not only the Executive Director of Tentmakers Bible Mission, but also teaches part-time at Frontier School of the Bible and remains a part of the Northern Utah Church Planting Consortium.
Name: Tim & Joy Miles
Board of Directors In 1985, our family moved to St. George, Utah, as TBM’s first missionaries. We saw the Lord bless, and in 1992 our church graduated from the mission. Twenty one years later, I am still pastoring Southland Bible Church.
Name: Tom & Kim Harves
Board of Directors Tom has a heart for the missionaries w/ TBM because he is a missionary pastor himself who continues to be a "tentmaker" working part-time construction jobs just to make ends meet. He knows how hard it is to try to balance ministry, work, and family demands. He knows what it is like to rebuild a struggling church and see it revived by being consistent in preaching God's Word and loving the people.
Name: Vince & Pat Tharp
Board of Directors The Apostle Paul used numerous individuals to encourage and comfort the hearts of the people in the new churches he established during his missionary journeys. He saw the need for people to personally visit the churches that he had started. Those visits afforded opportunity for the Apostle to send word to the churches about his ongoing ministry, to encourage them in their own ministry, and to disciple them through the letters he sent. Then these “messengers” were to bring word back to Paul about the condition of the church and its people. Col. 4:7-9 and Eph. 6:21-22 provide good examples of this type of ministry.
Name: Will & Shanna Fellows
Will stated, “Tentmakers Bible Mission is a mission organization that gives structure but with flexibility within that structure. To some missionaries that is very important. That was important to me.”
